Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Teisco 2K-L solid body electric from the 60's. This Bizarre Guitar is the rarer variant of the ET-230 model and features the same "Shark Fin" body. Check out the killer offset Tulip headstock. Uber rare and super cool. These gems feature a pair of the early Teisco single coils controlled by 1V, 1T and a 3 way switch. They are warm and thick with just the right amount of Surf jangle. Sure, we know these early Teiscos can have dodgy playability issues, but this one plays great on low action with no wonkiness to the neck and the frets are good.
The nut measures 1.60" , neck depth is .83"-.92" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's an Oval C profile with little shoulders and a pronounced crest. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 25" scale, 6.8" radius, 7.2 lbs. There are a scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the gig bag in the photos.
