NW Vintage Guitars is proud to bring you a one of a kind Telecaster double neck 4/6 by New England Custom Guitars. The builder, Eric C Brown, told us this is the prototype doubleneck and there were only a few more made. Eric is well known in the Northeast and has been a respected Luthier and Builder for over 30 years. He sources Maine Maple and other woods from his area to build with. This features an Amalfitano bridge pickup that reads 9.02 ohms, 7.2 ohms for the Twisted Tele neck pickup, and 6.47 ohms on the Seymour Duncan Antiquity Tele Bass pickup. And they all sound great. 5 way switch gives you the standard Tele options 1-3, both 4/6 neck at 4, and Bass only on 5.
The necks are both silky smooth with a true french polish. The 6 string has a 1.66" nut, measures .77" at the 1st, .90" at the 12th with a very familiar slim taper C carve . The 4 string nut is 1.60" with .85" at the first and .98" at the 12the with a very unique carve that starts with a soft V in the first position and transitions to a medium C at the 12 th. Very cool.
Her measurements are 18", 14.5, 16.5, and only 1.5" thick. We don't have a case for her and haven't been able to find one. SG doubleneck case is not big enough. 12.64 lbs, 25.5" scale guitar, 34" scale bass. Always safely packed and fully insured.
