Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a rare Toploader Fender Telecaster TL-43 in Candy Apple Red. This uncommon version of the Tele was made by Tokai in Japan in the mid 2000's for only a couple years in this version and was sold exclusively to the Japanese domestic market. It's a wonderful mix of vintge and modern appointments.
First off, you get a modern high mass Toploader bridge with 6 adjustable saddles. Now you can intonate your Tele and show off that toploader tonality. The 1V, 1T layout, the single ply guard, and the vintage custom color gives it some vintage cred. The Gotoh tuners and headstock adjusted truss rod are a welcomed modern upgrade. It's a Basswood body mated to a Maple neck with vintage spec frets with very little playwear and no divots, dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. We gave her a fresh set of nickel 10-46's and she's ready to ship out in the gig bag in the photos. 8.4 lbs
