Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare-as-hens-teeth Yamaki made Tomson GW530 with a solid Spruce top, semi-solid Rosewood back and sides, and a Mahogany neck with a bound and adorned Rosewood fretboard.  Collectors of vintage Japan guitars know that the Yamaki's of the 70's and 80's are the ones to have.  Very diligently thought out, superior materials, and expert craftsmanship combine to make a top shelf dreadnought.  25.25" scale, 16" radius, 4.92 lbs.  It's a nice even tonality not unlike an SJ200 or D45.  Not a cannon, not a boomer - just warm even tonality across the spectrum.  Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.

The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .96"-1.07" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a comfy soft V profile that feels like the vintage instrument that it is.  Freshly strung and with D'Addario 12-53 Bronze strings.  There are some nice non-original brass bridge pins.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  The frets are level and polished and the fretboard has been cleaned and conditioned. There is clouding under the finish as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots and lots of life left in the frets.
