This version of the Made in Japan Jazzmaster may be the very best with select woods and the spot on accurate Vintage Voiced Single coil pickups. And the figured Alder boady matches perfectly with the dark Rosewood fretboard. And the best part may be the pre-CBS accurate U neck profile. Very authentic. The pickups read 6.29k ohms at the neck and 6.19k at the bridge. They deliver the smooth a clear warm tone vintage Jazzmasters are known for. And it all comes safely packed in the padded gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .85"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the aforementioned vintage accurate U profile neck. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario 10-46 XL Nickel strings and factory spec 4/64"-3/63" action on clean and level frets. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It is in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
