Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1968 Fender Stratocaster Reissue model ST68-92TX Made in Japan exclusively for the Japanese domestic market.   These Alder bodied beauties feature the large headstock and correct logo decal.   The Japan made F tuners operate smoothly and suffer none of the maladies of the USA counterparts.  Equipped with Texas Special single coils and a 5-way switch to control it all.   The Texas Specials are original kit but the bridge is a Fender Custom Shop Texas Special replacement.   And it all comes safely packed and fully insured in the padded gig bag in the photos.

The nut measures 1.60", neck depth is .81"-.92" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a great medium C profile that folks just love.  25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 7.9 lbs.  Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings and factory spec action at 1.7mm-1.25mm.  The frets have been polished and it plays cleanly with no dead spots.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  There are only a couple slight dents or impressions and a small scratch keeping this from mint condition.
