Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Mosrite "The Ventures" Reissue Model VM-1500 with a striking slab Ash body and a perfect 3 tone Sunburst.  You get the "The Ventures" headstock, Kluson style tuners, and that groovy Mosrite body shape.  The 1500 pickups are the heart of this model.  Reading 9.26k ohms at the neck and 12.07k ohms at the bridge.  They deliver a very smooth and silky tone that becomes warm and chewy when run together.  These are fairly rare in the slab Ash variant and well worth the price of admission.  You also get the bound Rosewood fretboard with diminutive fret markers.

The nut measures 1.57", neck depth is .79"-.85" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's your typical slim C Mosrite neck carve.  24.75" scale, 12" radius, 8.20 lbs.  The frets have been leveled and polished.  Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings.   The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.  There is a paint chip fill on the rear bout as pictured.  Comes safely packed and fully insured in the padded PRS gig bag in the photos.
