Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a killer clean 1994 Yamaha Billy Sheehan Attitude Special Bass in the most fetching Thunder Blue. These are some of the best sounding basses to come from Yamaha with a pair of DiMarzio pickups with a 27.2k ohm Woofer Humbucker in the neck and a 7.7k ohms Will Power in the bridge. Special designed pickups in collaboration with Billy himself. They're so amazing. 33.7" scale, 10" radius, 9.02 lbs. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.53", neck depth is .82"-.96" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a great medium C profile just as Billy wanted it. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with nickel 45-105 strings and factory spec 5/64"-4/64" action. There very little fret wear. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few indentations and a ding on the back as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
