The LL-31B is a masterpiece from Yamaha's Custom Shop and features the best quality woods available. Solid High Grade figured Sitka Spruce top, solid Rosewood back and sides, a one piece Mahogany neck, and an Edony fingerboard and bridge. It's bold and even voiced throughout the tonal spectrum. It comes complete with the original case, hang tags, and all the candy pictured. It's the somplete package. Can't detect any appreciable fret wear.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .83"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very cool V neck profile that feels like a vintage instrument. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario 12-53 bronze strings and 2.5mm-2.0mm factory spec action and adequate saddle height as pictured. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
