Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean 1979 Yamaha Grand Concert hand crafted by Hideyuki Ezaki in Japan in 1979.  The specs on this model changed through the years, but this one has a solid Spruce top, solid Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, a high grade Ebony fretboard, and a Rosewood bridge.  Hideyuki Ezaki was one of the most skilled luthiers in Yamaha's staff of custom builders.   660mm scale, flat radius, 3.83 lbs.  The wood has dried and cured over the years and yields a nice subtle warmth with great projection for its size.  Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.

The nut measures 52mm, neck depth is 23mm-24mm at the 1st and 1oth frets respectively.   It's a classical D profile with ample purchase for the thumb.  Freshly strung with D'Addario Pro Arte Medium Tension strings and action at 4.3mm-3.3.  Good saddle height at 2.3-2.0mm.  The neck is straight and the relief currently offers optimum playability.  There are a few scratches and dings as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
