Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a well crafted and refined Yamaha JB500R Jazz Bass in Candy Apple Red and featuring a solid Alder body, and a Rosewood fretboard. It has a very refined tone with the Yamaha proprietary JB pickups. 34" scale, 7.25" radius, 8.8 lbs. The pickups read 5.49k ohms at the neck and 6.0k ohms at the bridge and deliver tons of warm yet defined tone. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original Yamaha branded faux leather padded gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.51", neck depth is .86"-.96" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very comfy C profile. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Dean Markley 48-106 nickel strings and factory spec 2.1mm-1.7mm action. The neck is straight, the truss rod is tight but turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There is limited buzzing above the 12th fret. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in good playable condition with no dead spots.
