Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a lovely 1984 Yamaha L-31A from their Limited line of top tier instruments. The L31 features a highly figured solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Jacaranda sides and back, an ebony bridge and fretboard with a solie Honduran Mohogany neck. No expense was spared as they sourced the best tonewoods available. Jacaranda is a term that refers to the Dalbergia species of Rosewood that grows in Brazil. And the sound is fantastic. Great playability and action with great saddle height.
The nut measures 1.74", neck depth is .87"-.92" on a soft V carve that fits the hand like a glove. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.
