Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a lovely 1984 Yamaha L-31A from their Limited line of top tier instruments. The L31 features a highly figured solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Jacaranda sides and back, an ebony bridge and fretboard with a solie Honduran Mohogany neck. No expense was spared as they sourced the best tonewoods available. Jacaranda is a term that refers to the Dalbergia species of Rosewood that grows in Brazil. And the sound is fantastic. The nut measures 1.74", neck depth is .87"-.92" on a soft V carve that fits the hand like a glove. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are scattered dings, scratches, nicks, and small dents as pictured but it remains in very good overall condition and excellent playing condition. There is a finish only crack behind the bridge that's backed by bracing.
