Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a vintage 1968 Yamaha G-100 Concert classical with a solid Spruce top, Maple back and sides, and a Mahogany neck. It's a very practical classical that Yamaha built in the 60's and 70's. The wood is aged and very resonant with lots of overtones. 655 mm scale, 3.25 lbs, Rosewood fretboard and Rosewood bridge. We dealt with some fret sprout, cleated and glues a crack next to the extension and it's ready to roll. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the chipboard case in the photos.
The nut measures 51 mm, neck depth is 21 mm- 25 mm at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. Freshly strung with D'Addario Pro Arte Medium tension strings. The neck is straight and the relief currently offers optimum playability. Action is at 4.3mm-4.0 mm with great saddle height and room for lowering if desired. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
