Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1977 Greco EG500B in remarkable condition and featuring the Maxon U1000 pickups. This is a chambered body and carries a resonance not experienced with solid body guitars. The Maxon U1000 Humbuckers read 7.8k ohms at the neck and 7.6k ohms at the bridge. They deliver a bright sonic template with a hollow overtone that can dial in a haunting and quacky low end. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 9.33 lbs. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the faux leather gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.76", neck depth is .84"-.95" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a nice medium C profile. Not slim. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario XL 10-46 nickel strings and factory spec action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets are level and exhibit scant wear, the fretboard is clean and conditioned. There are very few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
