Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Burny Rock'n Roll Version Les Paul Junior in Brown Sunburst. These are a rare and lightweight Junior with a great P90 pickup. These feature a solid Silverheart or Mahogany body, a solid one-piece Mahogany neck, and a Rosewood fretboard all in the style of Gibson's Les Paul Junior. We replaced the original wraparound bridge with an intonatable one since the original was intonated for a wound G string just like back in the 50's. The original bridge and posts are included. The knobs are non-original replacements from Philadelphia Luthier's Exchange. 24.75" scale, 14" radius, and only 7.36 lbs. The P90 reads 7.36k ohms. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the heavily padded premium gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.73", neck depth is .85"-.95" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's very much a '59 C profile neck carve. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario 10-46 XL nickel strings and factory spec 4/64"-3/64" action. The frets have tiny divots that are very hard to see and impossible to photograph. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It plays cleanly up and down the fretboard. The tone pot is a very steep Linear Taper pot MIJ. The Volume pot has been replaced with a CTS pot. There are two finish fills as pictured. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
