Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a killer clean 2001 BC Rich Mockingbird bass model JE360 Japan Edition. The Japan Edition line was crafted in Japan and sold exclusively on the Japanese domestic and select international markets. This one is in great shape with no noticable fret wear. These feature a pair of BC Rich P-style split single coil pickups that read 6.72k ohms at the neck and 6.55k at the bridge. They have a wide tonal spectrum and deliver plenty of punch and room filling lows. 34" scale 14" radius, 7.65 lbs. It comes safely packed and fully insured in the padded gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .85"-.91" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the BC Rich C profile that allows excellent accessibility. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario 45-105 nickel strings and low 4/64" action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. Some finish fills on the upper bout as pictured. Catalog specs an Agathis body, but it looks like Alder to us and it's very light. Maple neck and an Indian Rosewood Fretboard. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
