Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 23 year old Seagull blue label S6 Cedar dreadnought with a hard case. The Canadian Godin Company introduced the Seagull line of guitars in 1982 and put everyone on notice. Finally there was an affordable full sized acoustic available with a solid top and expert craftsmanship. This model is from 2003 and featured the famed blue label, a solid Cedar top, and laminated Cherry sides and back. It punches way above its weight when it comes to tone. 24.34" scale, 14" radius, 4.61 lbs. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.80", neck depth is .84"-.99" at the 1st and 10th frets respectively. Freshly strung with D'Addario 12-53 bronze strings. the frets are polished and the fretboard is clean and conditioned. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
