Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean and fuly serviced 1994 Sovtek Mig 50 tube amp head in perfect working order. These Russian gems were made in the 90's and featured two 6L6 power tubes and three 12AX7 pre-amp tubes to produce the Fender Bassman meets Marshall MKII tonality. It's very versatile, operates quietly, and delivers a lush saturated tone. Our amp tech gave it a complete service bypassing the worn out and drifted electrolytic cap cans, installed a terminal strip to install high quality replacements. As is the case for these early Sovteks, the potentiometers have drifted in value and were replaced with correct value pots. The power section was upgraded for safety, and the tubes all tested. It's rock solid and needs nothing. The detail of work performed is listed on the repair sheet in the photos.
