Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean and fully serviced Elk Custom 60 all tube amp head made by Miyuki in Japan from 1966-1969. When Fender decided to manufacture and sell Fender amps in Japan, they chose Miyuki. Those Fender Japan amps that we rarely see here in the states are direct descendants of amps made to copy the Fender USA amps. The sound is spot on Fender Blackface era. This is a 60 watt version of the blackface 60's amps like the Bandmaster. It includes Vibrato and Reverb with a cool chrome footswitch. The two 6CA7 power tubes are akin to the British EL34s and the ECC83S preamp tubes are familiar to any Fender or Marshall amp fan. Our amp tech performed his magic on this gem and it's better than it's ever been. The cap cans were bypassed, terminal strips were used to install high quality capacitors in their place. A number of resitors were replaced, the bias circuit got a 10k pot for adjustability, and the screen resistors were replaced.
