Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare 1962-1964 Kay N-1 Hollowbody that we modded with a Lindy Fralin P-90, CTS Pots, and some cool period correct cupcake knobs.  There was something missing on this gem when we received it and since it needed a neck reset, we decided to take it to another level by adding the P-90 and some appropriate knobs from our vintage stash.  It sounds amazing and you won't be disappointed.  Great P-90 tones with a warm woody delivery.  Comes safely packed in the period correct case in the photos.

The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .99"-1.2" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a chunky C profile as we'd expect frmo this era.  25.5" scale, 16" radius, 4.92 lbs.  Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Stainless Steel Flatwounds 11-50.  It received a pro setup from our in-house luthier and has low 4/64"-3/64" action on freshly leveled, crowned and polished frets.   There is adjustability to raise or lower the saddle.  The neck is straight, the truss rod is tight but turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  The D string tuner is slightly bent.  The heel cap has been replaced.  There are a few scratches and dings as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
