Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a Martin D-28 Dreadnought Acoustic from 1979 in great shape. Solid Spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, an Ebony fretboard and bridge. This D28 has the unmistakable voice of a Martin and the added tonality of 47 year old aged woods. Great depth, projection, and warmth. Hard to find tone like this outside of the Custom Shop. 25.4" scale, 16" radius, 4.6 lbs. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original hardshell case in the photos. All the latches and hinges work as they should.
The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .88"=1.00" at the 1st and 10th frets respectively. It's a slight soft V to C profile. Freshly strung with D'Addario 12-53 bronze strings. The neck is straight, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots. The pickguard is a Martin replacement.
