Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare Mosrite of Classics "The Ventures" with the Vibramute and the original hard case. This iteration of The Ventures model was made by Fillmore of Japan under the supervision of Dana Mosely who carried on the Mosrite tradition after her dad's death in 1992. They feature the vintage correct high output pickups reading 12.46k ohms at the neck and 12.93k at the bridge. Our luther has completed a complete re-fret and fretboard leveling so it's as good as new. Frets are the StewMac nickel silver .084" wide, .039" tall vintage correct fretwire. It plays flawlessly. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original Mosrite branded hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.56", neck depth is .89"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very comfy and consistent C profile unlike the super skinny Mosrite carvings that preceeded it. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Ernie Ball 10-46 Nickel strings and action at 4/64"-2/64". The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
