Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare and vibey 1980's Steinberger licensed Hohner B2 Pro with a Steinberger flight case and Steinberger Hardware. These 80's offerings were made in Japan under license with the Hohner label, but they are essentially Steinbergers made in Japan and a great value on the vintage market today. And this one has a genuine Steinberger flight case with cool stickers and all working latches and hinges. 34" scale, 16" radius, 5.74 lbs. The Select EMG passive pickups erad in the 12.8k ohms range and deliver a punchy and warm tone. It comes safely packed and fully insured in the flight case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.53", neck depth is .90"-.98" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a medium to full C profile. Accurately intonated with the nickel double ball strings and low 2mm-1.8mm factory spec action. The frets are level and polished, the fretboard is clean and conditioned. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Alder body, maple neck. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
