Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a honey of a D-28 copy in this Tokai Cat's Eyes Model CE-500 with a Solid Spruce top and plate ply Indian Rosewood back and sides. It even includes the sporty Takamine hard case in the photos. There's a Morris CP-2 passive transducer pickup onboard as well. Really nice playing and sounding guitar.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .91"-1.0" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a deep C carve with just a hint of V in the first position. 25.3" scale, 16" radius, 4.3 lbs. It received a fret level, crown and polish and a pro setup here in our shop. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 12-53 Bronze 80/20 strings. Action is at 2.0mm-1.65mm. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the case in the photos.
