Northwest Vintage Guitars presents an uber rare Lefty Fernandes FFV70 Flying V with all Solid Mahogany and Made in Japan in 1980.  These amber finished versions are extremely uncommon and were made for less than 2 years and this being a left handed version makes it even scarcer.  It's unclear if the pickups are original, but they're a great set of lawsuit era PAFs.   The neck meters 8.10k ohms and the bridge is at 7.94k.  Lots of genuine PAF vintage tone.  24.75" scale, 9.5" radius, and only 6.58 lbs.  There are some added adornments on the headstock and the logo has been largely sanded away on the truss rod cover, but it's there and we gave it a nice buffing.  Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original hard case in the photos.

The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .84"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.   It's a comfy C profile that's easy to get along with.   Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Ernie Ball 10-46 nickel strings and low factory spec action.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.   The frets are level with moderate wear and lots of life and the fretboard is clean and conditioned.  There are a few scratches and dings as pictured.  There are some repairs to the pickguard as pictured, the Schaller tuners are not original.  There is a replaced saddle intonation screw on the low E, the pickups are spliced in the curcuit, added headstock ornaments, and one knob is cracked but functions as it should and stays put.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
